The well-known Kerr metric is valid only for black holes, while the overwhelming majority of astronomical objects are not black holes. We are also exploring the possibility of developing a relativistic quantum theory using tripotents instead of projections. The goal is to formulate the spectral theory of tripotents in the language of set-theoretic forcing. We are trying to resolve the controversy about whether a neutral current loop picks up a nonzero charge density and an electric dipole moment in an inertial frame in which the loop is moving.
