Older people, being aware of their situation, reduce driving, and become dependent on public transport and their relatives. An autonomous vehicle (AV) can provide a solution to the mobility of this population. Applying the AV solution depends on the ability of older people to adapt to this new technology. In this study, we will examine the adaptation of older women to AVs in a longitudinal study. We will monitor their physiological indices, and collect their responses to adaptation questionnaires during several rids in AV. Then, we will use statistical models to estimate the change in stress over time Peer-Reviewed Papers in Refereed Journals 1. Sahar Y, Elbaum T, Wagner M, Musicant O, Hirsh T and Shoval S.
