The first is Constraint Satisfaction Problems: I have researched the problems of finding equal-moments partitions of a set and defined a new way for counting solutions to CSP using generating polynomials. My current research (a collaboration with Prof. Daniel Berend and Dr. Yochai Twitto) is focused on developing a Max-Sat solver, using novel variable prioritization methods. My second and more recent research interest (a collaboration with Dr. Assaf Zaritsky) is Computational cell dynamics, bridging computer science and cell biology. I am interested in the fundamental question: How does cellular heterogeneity and noisy interactions between cells converge to regulate the emergence of tissue scale architecture and function?
